If your team is eliminated in the playoffs, you MUST return your team jersey and socks that night or by April 26. Failure to do so may result in a HK$300 fine and will need to be paid in order to play in the Hockey 5’s tournament or summer league.

Polar Fighters defeated Coors Light 1-0

Polar Fighters – Richard Kwong 1g, Gene Cheh 1a. Raymond Loo with 13 saves.

Coors Light – No goals. Loron Orris with 19 saves.

The KEG 3 Stars of the game – 1) Richard Kwong 2) Loron Orris 3) Raymond Loo Recap – Richard Kwong’s goal with 1:54 left in the third period was the game winner, giving the Polar Fighters the Division 2 Championship in the best of 3 series over Coors Light. Richard is known for scoring timely goals – mainly game winners or shootout winners. Both teams played very cautious and waited for their chances. Coors Light hit the post early in the game when Jason Yee took a wild stab at the puck in front of Ray Loo. Loo immediately kissed his left post. On the game winner, Gene Cheh’s point shot went though a maze of skates before Richard batted the puck over Loron Orris for the game’s only goal. Coors Light did come back down the ice but Michael Tanaka’s shot rang off the left post which meant Loo would kiss his posts again. Congrats to Polar Fighters – 2009-2010 Division 2 Champions.
